About CSBA

Chennai Southern Builders Association (CSBA) is one of the premier Builders Associations formed in Chennai by a group of enlightened friendly builders in Nanganallur, Madipakkam and Puzhuthivakkam areas of Chennai, way back in 1996. Having started with 3 members, over a period of time, the strength of members got increased to 120.

The Charismatic activities of our Association, office bearers has attracted builders from across various parts to have a committed membership from about, who are leading Builders of Chennai, who take sincere parts in our Association activities. The commitment of our members has enabled us to operate from our own premises located at Nanganallur.

The Charter of our Association is to promote better relations among the builders community, represent before the government bodies the issues affecting the building industry, provide affordable housing to the middle class public and to ensure better relations between the building community with public and local population.

As a representative of the Builders fraternity, we interact with various Government bodies such as CMDA, DTCP, TNEB, Municipalities, Corporation, Registration depts.. etc., for orderly development of residential properties & also formulating the Government Policies.

We invite the Anna University Engineers, leading Advocates / Government officials related to Building industry to share the know – How, update the technologies, to get educated the latest developments concerned to master plan, amendments to the service tax etc.,

Though we are an association of business people, we do understand our commitment to our society where in we live. We regularly organize philanthropic activities such as providing educational aids to deserving students, hospitalized poor people, participate in national celebrations by involving the local people and providing our full co-operation and monetary contributions to the Government authorities in cases of national disasters, like drought, floods, tsunami, etc.,

We as Association, with our members make site visits to cement factories, tiles, steel manufacturing units etc., on invitation & are educated about the process involved.

We have given 150 beds/cots with further facilities as full pledged Corona ward at Saidapet and gifted the same to Tamil Nadu State Government Hon’ble Health minister Sri.Ma.Subramanaian, in the presence of then Health Secretary Mr. Dr. Radhakrishnan.

Recently, we have conducted our Association’s 26th year Anniversary function very grand at Hotel Holiday Inn, Thiruvanmiyur & presided over by Our Hon’ble Health Minister Sri. Ma. Subramanian.

Our efforts in serving the community is lauded by the society and our association viz – a – viz our members are very proud for their commitment in achieving this goal &in this process we invite / professionals / dignitaries / elite people in the society to know & to spread awareness, what a little we learn through the dignitaries.

At CSBA, we strive to create a safe and welcoming community for our residents. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life for all members of our association.

Our Office Bearers are made up of dedicated volunteers who are committed to serving our community, They work tirelessly to ensure that our association runs smoothly and efficiently.
